Life: The Matrix

Life begins as a consequence of two individuals’ actions. From the moment of conception a child’s reality is governed by the parent(s), almost as though the little human has no agency at all. When born, a child has to be indoctrinated, from learning immediate family’s customs to the societal customs. The family gives a child a name to be identified by, society the ethnic group to identify with and both identities have to be defended. Formal and informal education are the passport issued to an alien child to navigate the world. As the child grows, the child is introduced to: religion, politics, art, marriage and sex; ultimately fostering assimilation. However, as a young adult an individual will start to realise nothing is really what it seems on the surface and this is all one serious joke, a form of mockery on his/her intelligence.

Law makers depend on money (banks), politics and religion/culture to control the masses. Money is the most powerful of the three. Fractional reserve banking is the biggest insult to the common man’s work ethic. The bank loans you numbers on a screen at an interest rate for you to pay them back in in labor. From mortgages, school and car loans, it is all smokeless fire, a agenda fostered by the banks in order to loan out more money. Marriage is also their best yield, as the married man must buy the ever demanding wife the endless list of consumer product she requires, though not needed. To make matters worse, as soon as the bankers crash the economy they are bailed out via quantitative easing at the expense of the masses. It is funny gays were not granted marriage rights until the decline of marriage among straight couples, bankers trying to secure their loan credit lines: marriage. Even then straight couples who have kids out of wed-lock are being hung on the child support line, whatever it takes to keep the debt line up, it does not matter what sex is paying (males do most of the payment though). The state’s worst nightmare is a nation with a large proportion of single men, which is inevitable and most likely will result in the passing of a bachelor’s tax act.

Monotheism, Polytheism and Atheism are different categories of religion, each one of these ties in to the politics of the society. Ancient Romans incorporated their religious rituals to their politics, and the same can be noticed with other civilizations and societies. Polytheism proposes an answer for phenomena not readily understood, most cultures have gods in common, ranging from: god of war, thunder, harvest and so on. Mostly made to exert control on the masses, the Romans strangely had a god of boots: a god who kept their leather boots from rot.

Humans will also do unspeakable things to make their worship feel tangible, from making idols to human sacrifices to disfiguring their bodies and living in isolation. These all count as signs for the ordinary people to respect the priest and priestesses that serve as representatives for the deities. Humans generally seeks to please their belly and not their minds, whatever entices their senses can be used to seduce them and frankly they enjoy it more than that meant to prosper their souls, living for immediate gratification. Politics is all about making promises, a politician is a dealer of hope who does not have to deliver. The greatest ability of any politician is to be able to give subjects ear orgasms. It is akin to a player telling a woman lies to lay with her and she follows no matter how ridiculous stupid to be true the lies sound and despite a failed reputation.

A group of people who assume the position of leadership use religion and gods to control the rest. It is easier for a group of people to die or kill in the name of God(s) that to actually live their lives following productive principles. Sacrifice is preferred over obedience, obedience in the sense of doing what is right initially. Consequently when famine hits, natural disaster or siege, sacrifices are demanded to blot the transgression leading to the misfortune, which today technology/conservation solves. Doing what is right is better than sacrifice, in as much as no charms and sacrifice can take the place of hard work, reason and patience.

Music and all other forms of arts are also employed as political propaganda. For instance, Augustus Caesar implored Virgil to write the history of Rome thousand of years ago, the Ludi to seduce the masses. Artiste are used to push propaganda eliciting absolute devotion of subjects. Celebrities or idols like some call them, are very useful to politicians and their political ambitions.

Some ethnicity do dowries, while others offer bride price, everything being considered, sex was regulated  within the boundary of marriage, at least until the advent of feminism. Children are prepared for the role of marriage by parents and conversely today by animated stories (Disney). Marriage is less spiritual and more political in this age. Not so long ago marriage was a demanded by the parents, especially the mother who earnestly seeks to become grand mother and also on the part of the father to secure his estate. Presently, marriage enables the government to monitor a family’s income while also optimising the population, and in exchange they give tax break incentives. The Catholic church may have pioneered this making the pope to take a vow of celibacy, this was to avoid making papacy a family dynasty. They would also proliferate the monogamy agenda amongst the common people. Kings definitely would not follow that monogamy rule, the plan wass to maximise the resource of the man for the church and also keep population growth in check. One wife who is a devout woman will make sure her husband contributes to the church, having multiple wives will cause the man to have less to spare to the church in the case contribution was to be made.

Surely there has got to  life. It’s considered the noblest thing: to live within the limits of societal norms. Whatever has structure and has rules, humans are herds that must be lead. Indoctrination is the process to enact this, from the education system, to obtaining licenses, every single individual is accounted for. However, retaining a part of our individuality is important for the sake of innovation ; most entrepreneur fall into this categories, the individual that challenge the status quo, breaking rules and not laws.

The government does not exist to help you but rather create and enforce limits, the process inadvertently at times assuages unwholesome conditions but mostly it is a regressive process also. From the judicial, to the legislative and most importantly executive branch, they all serve the purpose of control. Slavery was abolished for the same reason beast of burden was outdated, machinery. Nothing changes no matter how innovative, unless the beast i.e government, can gain from it: political mafias. Essentially if it can’t be efficiently taxed, it is never going to be approved.

Sadly every ethnicity also has been boxed in, different ethnic groups serve a specific purpose at their different levels. The “beast” will be fed either way, thus in low income areas  the beast gets paid from mass incarceration, likewise in high income areas, it get paid from excessive taxes. The beast will employ whatever technique to turn whatever situation into a means to get paid. Full circle!
